CA ED Diversion Report Released: July 2009

The final report for the California Emergency Department (ED) Diversion Project has been released. 

The study, supported by the California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF), studied diversion in California.

In addition, CHCF released three issue briefs on the status of EDs in California.

The next issue brief discusses freestanding EDs in California and across the country, Freestanding Emergency Departments: Do They Have a Role in California?

The third issue brief pertains to the use and size of California hospital-based EDs, Is California's Hosptial-Based ED System Eroding?
